How To Ship?
Shipping Guidelines for Sending Cards to Customers
1. Place Card into a Soft Sleeve or Protector
Cover your card with a protective sleeve, being cautious not to snag its corners. Start by gently inserting the bottom left corner of the card into the sleeve, then smoothly slide the rest of the card inside, ensuring its safety.
2. Provide Card Protection
For added protection, consider using a top loader, a hard plastic holder, to safeguard the sleeved card. Follow the same process as Step 1 to insert the card into the top loader. It's advisable to place the card into the top loader with the sleeve's opening facing downwards. This minimizes the risk of the card slipping out of the sleeve and the top loader simultaneously.
Another precautionary measure is to apply a small piece of painter's tape on the top of the top loader to prevent the card from slipping out
Alternatively, sandwiching the card firmly between rigid materials like cardboard is also a viable option for protection.
3. Minimize Sliding While in Transit
You're tasked with ensuring your cards arrive intact, considering the possibility of rough handling during transit.
Cardboard boxes
Place raw cards directly in cardboard boxes and insert the box into a larger box with newspaper or other padding.
TheCards.shop recommends: Stop by your local post office and pick up a flat rate box. The boxes are free and work great as the outer box. Postage is about $15-$20 per box. You can easily fit 500-2,000 cards in a box.

Penny sleeves & cardboard boxes
Protect raw cards with penny sleeves and place them into a 100-400 count cardboard box. If you use multiple boxes or boxes larger than 400 counts, you MUST pack them into a larger box and cushion with newspaper or other padding.
Piece slider boxes
Place raw cards directly into 2-piece slider boxes, tape the slider boxes shut, then pack them in a larger box with newspaper or other padding.

Bubble envelope - Place protected cards in a bubble mailer or secure envelope like the kind you might find in an office supply store.

Choose the method that best suits your preferences and the level of protection required for safe shipping.
4. Ship Your Cards
Follow the previous steps. You are welcome to use any shipper you would like, but we highly recommend some form of tracking number or delivery confirmation.
As part of the Seller Agreement you are contracted to adhere to, you are responsible for the cards until they arrive, so you may want to also get insurance.
